principal

I cordially welcome the young aspiring students to Gobinda Basumatary College, Jaraguri . Established in 2016, this institution has been growing and striving and aiming at providing a quality based education since day one . Situated at an area away from the hustle bustle and chaos . The students are provided an atmosphere that is learning-based not only academically but also in the field of co-curricular activities in order to meet the demands of the present global – that is ever dynamic and challenging. Since the college also has an aim to provide education to the academically backward and financially weaker students of the area and considering their larger accessibility to books, the college has library facilities as well as ICT facilities for promoting interest in technology.

I, as the Principal I/c of this institution ensure that the faculties in our institution are competent and driven in their commitment to provide education which will enable the students to develop their knowledge, skills, creative thinking, personality, moral values as well as an education which will lead them to bring peace, harmony and unity amongst themselves and others in society.
